Neighborhood Senior Centers are places to make friends, stay active, have fun and try something new. We provide shuttle service to and from the Senior Center closest to you, Monday through Friday. Each of our 3 Senior Centers offers activities and programs to meet the needs and interests of the Center participants. Activities can include yoga, tai chi, walking, chair exercises or line dancing as well as various card games and bingo. There are discussion groups, creative arts classes in ceramics, painting, sewing and seasonal crafts. Educational opportunities address topics of interest to seniors, such as fall prevention, healthy food choices, computer skills and how to identify common conditions such as depression, macular degeneration and hearing loss.
Each Senior Center has a schedule of trips to area malls, stores, shows and cultural events each week.
So, if you are looking for a way to enjoy social activities but cannot drive, or if you are interested in having a nice hot lunch with friends rather than being home alone, check out our Neighborhood Senior Centers.
