When a senior is receiving care assistance from a family member, spouse or friend, the workload can often be overwhelming for the caregiver. This leads to stress for both the senior and the caregiver.
To help, SSNF can arrange for Respite Care….through which the care giver can receive up to 12 hours of “time off” during the month. That time off enables the caregiver to refresh, recharge and refocus. While the regular caregiver is taking time to tend to their own needs, SSNF arranges for a professional to come and stay with the senior so that the senior is always receiving the care and assistance needed.
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides seniors with companionship and help with leisure activities, simple meal preparation and assistance with getting around.
