North Fulton Hospital will host the second More to Life Wellness Event for Active Adults, 55+

at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park. 

The event will be very similar to last year’s celebration: Senior Centers/Senior Living Communities will have booths with refreshments and give-away items.  Each activity will be hosted by at least two senior centers/communities, making the event easier to navigate. Health Screenings will take place in the large catering room (where BINGO was held last year).  While the event will begin at 9 am, the first activities will start at 10 am. This will give people time to check in, have some screenings done if they wish, listen to some morning entertainment, etc. before settling into an activity.

Essential Tremor Support 
Do you know that more people suffer from Essential Tremor than Parkinson's Disease?  We are the only support group in the Atlanta area. Quarterly meetings are being held at our Roswell Senior Center at this time. The next meeting will be held in October. 

Also known as familial tremor, benign essential tremor or hereditary tremor, essential tremor (ET) is a progressive neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs or trunk. It is often confused with Parkinson's disease and dystonia.
